CHANCEL CHOIR

The Chancel Choir participates in Worship Services weekly.  Sharing a variety of musical selections, helping with hymn singing, and presenting special musicals at Easter and Christmas are some of the ways they minister and serve our congregation.  They also sing special songs at other times of the year.  A love for music, a willing heart to serve, and a desire to be part of a great fellowship is all that’s needed to join.  The Choir is open to youth and adults.  The Chancel Choir meets for rehearsals every Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.  (They usually take the month of July off from rehearsing.)

 

HAND BELL CHOIR

The Hand Bell Choir rings periodically throughout the year.  A knowledge of music and some music reading skills are encouraged for participation in this group.  This group rehearses on Sundays immediately following the end of the 10 am worship service and is open to youth and adults.  A great time of fellowship with others is always part of this music group.  They practice throughout the year, except the month of July.  Come enjoy the fun of ringing!

 

PRAISE BAND

The Praise Band is an ensemble of 6 to 8 people who sing or play instruments such as guitars, drums, and keyboard and participates each Sunday.  Offering the well-known contemporary songs, as well as the newest contemporary songs, this group prepares for a more free-spirited led time of worship.  They rehearse every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. throughout the year.  A love of contemporary music, playing an instrument, singing harmony, and learning music by listening are all encouraged to participate in this group.  A worshipful spirit and heart to lead others is welcomed.
