Sundays at WIMC

Children’s Sermon: Children come forward at a designated time during the worship service for a brief introduction to the morning’s Children’s Church lesson. You’ll be asked to sign in your child before this with your child’s name, age, and your phone number in case we need to reach you during the service.

 

Children’s Church:  Immediately following the children's sermon, children are dismissed to a worship experience that is designed for them and coordinates with Pastor Doug's sermon.

 

Sunday school:  Small group Bible learning activities meet from 9:00 - 9:45 am. Classes are Pre-K - 2nd grade and 3rd - 5th grade. All activities are age appropriate and designed to be a fun Bible learning experience for every child.

 

Points for Rewards:  A system we use to encourage children to attend, bring their Bibles, bring a friend, memorize verses, learn Bible books, and read their Bible every day. At the end of each quarter, children shop with earned points.

Sunday Afternoons:  Drama Club 4:00 - 5:00 pm during the school year.  For children ages 5 years - 5th grade who love to sing and act. Because these Sunday afternoons are spent preparing for worship service presentations, attendance at these services by the drama club participants and their families is expected.
